Abstract
In this paper, Fe-TiO2 and Ni-TiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized by solgel method. The inactivation of HL60 cells in vitro photodynamic therapy was studied. The nanoparticles were characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM), energy dispersive spectrometer(EDS), Xray diffraction (XRD), ultravioletvisible (UVVis) absorption spectrum etc. The inactivation of HL60 cells by Fe-TiO2 and Ni-TiO2 was analyzed by CCK-8 assay. The experimental results show that Fe-TiO2 and Ni-TiO2 nanoparticles with different final concentration and doping amount have lower dark toxicity to HL60 cells, but the PDT efficiency is significantly higher than that of pure TiO2. Under the optimal parameters, the PDT inactivation efficiency reached 72.5%±1.6% and 56.4%±1.2% respectively. In addition, the differences in the inactivation effects of these two nanoparticles were also discussed.
