Abstract
The rapid development of highthroughput sequencing technology has promoted the research progress in bioscience and been widely used in plant and animal disease resistance analysis, cancer research, genetic breeding, etiology diagnosis, microbiology, molecular epidemiology and bacterial taxonomy. RNAseq or “transcriptome sequencing technology” is an important part of highthroughput sequencing and a new method in genomics and transcriptome analysis. This paper focuses on RNAseq application in Nilaparvata lugensi on the growth and reproduction, defense, immunity and resistance.
