Abstract

The rapid development of highthroughput sequencing technology has promoted the research progress in bioscience and been widely used in plant and animal disease resistance analysis, cancer research, genetic breeding, etiology diagnosis, microbiology, molecular epidemiology and bacterial taxonomy. RNAseq or “transcriptome sequencing technology” is an important part of highthroughput sequencing and a new method in genomics and transcriptome analysis. This paper focuses on RNAseq application in Nilaparvata lugensi on the growth and reproduction, defense, immunity and resistance.
