Abstract: Radiotherapy is one of the conventional treatments of tumor. However, radiation-induced metastasis usually results in the poor clinical outcome of radiotherapy. Tumor angiogenesis is tightly related to its metastasis and the combined administration of anti-angiogenetic drugs with radiotherapy effectively improves the prognosis of tumor radiotherapy, therefore, studies on radiation-related angiogenesis are of practical significance. The purpose of this review is to summarize the recent research progress on tumor angiogenesis related to radiotherapy and to provide a considerable reference for developing medicine targeting on angiogenesis and improving the clinical outcome of radiotherapy.
